Delhi girl abducted, gang-raped on her way to school by 6 youths

New Delhi: A 14-year-old girl was abducted and gang-raped by six youths while on her way to school on Thursday morning. According to a report in TOI, the girl was dragged inside a car near her home and allegedly gang-raped near Dichaon village area of southwest Delhi.

The girl was taken to a secluded area where the accused took turns to rape her inside the vehicle. The incident was witnessed by a passerby, who informed cops at the next traffic signal. Acting on the tip-off, cops managed to trace the vehicle and nab five accused, whereas one of them managed to flee the spot.

Police said the incident took place between 8am and 11am in a Tata Sumo, which was hired by the accused to commit the crime.

Medical examination of the victim has confirmed rape. Police have registered a case and search is on to nab the fifth accused.
