Reality shows might have too much drama, but you know what, it helps spot talent. NewsMobile brings you some of the stars who made it big via reality shows:

Ayushmann Khurrana

Ayushmann Khurrana made his big Bollywood debut with Vicky Donor and has emerged to be one of the finest actors, singers and presenters. He shot to fame with MTV’s adventure reality show ‘MTV Roadies Season 2’ which he won.

Monali Thakur

Monali Thakur, a young, charming playback singer whose voice just soothes ears. Though, she started singing at a very young age, she gained popularity from the second season of singing reality show “Indian Idol”.
Although Monali placed ninth in the reality show but the magic of her couldn’t stop music director Pritam Chakraborty to offer her to sing two songs for the Bollywood film Race in 2008. And since then she is on the top of Bollywood music.

Emma Stone

Before she was an Oscar-nominated actress, Emma Stone tried to get her big break on VH1’s In Search of the Partridge Family. Emma went on to win the 2004 competition and appear in one episode of the subsequent show The New Partridge Family.

Meiyang Chang

Singer turned host turned actor, he is Meiyang Chang, got the way to his stardom through a singing reality show.
He was among the top 5 finalists in ‘Indian Idol Season 3′. His charming personality and good command over language made him the host for the show’s next season. Chang also successfully tried his hand in acting by grabbing a role in Yash Raj production’s ‘Badmaash Company’ and was recently seen in ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshi’.

Jamie Chung

Jamie Chung, an actress who recently got married to Bryan Greenberg, has appeared in hilarious movies such as Grown Ups and The Hangover Part II.
But many don’t remember where she made her first on-screen appearance. Chung’s first moments of fame began in 2004 when she was part of MTV’s The Real World: San Diego which gave a boom to her career. Later she participated in another MTV show, Road Rules Challenges: The Inferno II.

Rannvijay Singh

How can we forget Rannvijay Singh, the adventure lover is quite popular among the young generation and has been an inspiration of many. Singh started his journey from ‘MTV Roadies’ first season and he was the winner of the show and that gave him the wings to make his identity and become a youth icon.

Rannvijay later became host and associated with MTV Roadies. He tried his luck in Hindi movies, but sadly couldn’t attract the audience on the silver screen.

Faisal Khan

A young dancer with unprivileged background made it big and showed the world that anything is possible with great determination. Faisal began his journey with television dance reality show ‘Dance India Dance L’il Masters Season 2’ and he successfully won it and this brought him into the spot lights of the eternity.

Noticed by a production house, wasting no time he was casted in the title role of young warrior prince in historical show ‘Bharat Ka Veer Putra Maharana Pratap’.

In 2015 Faisal is returned to his passion of dance by participating in celebrity dance reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhla Ja’ and he won this one too.
