‘Emotional’ Sonam claims playing Neerja has made her stronger

Date:

New Delhi: For actors, getting into the skin of their characters leaves them drained. But for Sonam Kapoor, who will be soon essaying the role of flight attendant Neerja Bhanot, the role made her stronger. She revealed this as she got emotional during the trailer launch of the flick.

With a teary eye, the 30-year-old actor said, “When we were shooting in the plane, every day I used to be like ‘oh god I am out of the plane’ and by the end of the schedule I said that I can’t believe I get to leave this plane and Neerja didn’t.”

Further, when asked whether this flick has been stressful for her or not, the ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo” star said that anything emotionally challenging makes a person grow as a human being, and she has got only positive things from it.

Sonam added, “Anything that playing Neerja Bhanot has brought into my life is being positive, it has not strained me, it has made me stronger.”
