In what may be called as a significant breakthrough, the Chhattisgarh Police on Friday arrested four Maoist militants from insurgency-hit Dantewada.
The Maoists were arrested from Bhasi railway station where they were trying to hinder the railways services.
The arrested Maoists are believed to be involved in other naxal attacks as well.
Earlier on Thursday, at least 70 Naxals, including 15 women surrendered in insurgency hit Sukma District of Chhattisgarh.
The Naxals surrendered before the state police in Chintalnar area of Sukma.
Two Maoists, including a woman, had yesterday surrendered in the insurgency-hit Bastar district of the state.
