Narsingh Yadav’s Rio dream revived; NADA gives clean chit

Date:

New Delhi: In a big relief for India’s Olympic contingent, Narsingh Yadav, the Nation Anti-Doping Agency (NADA) has given a clean chit to the 74-kg men’s freestyle wrestler.

Earlier, the wrestler failed a second dope test which was conducted on him on July 5.

It is learnt that Narsingh, already under provisional suspension for failing a June 25 dope test, has also flunked the second test done on both his ‘A’ and ‘B’ samples taken on July 5.

“Narsingh Yadav is a victim of sabotage,” NADA panel said.

“There is no fault & negligence on #NarsinghYadav’s part, he is a victim of sabotage done by a competitor,” NADA panel added.
