9 J&K govt employees suspended for absentism

Srinagar, Apr 29 (PTI) To curb absentism, the Baramulladistrict administration in Jammu and Kashmir has suspendednine of its employees on the ground of remaining absent fromduty without prior authorisation. "Acting upon the directions of Deputy CommissionerBaramulla Yasha Mudgal, Tehsildar Baramulla yesterdayinspected offices of Assistant Commissioner Food Safety andAssistant Director CAPD, Baramulla," an official spokesmansaid today. "During the inspection, nine employees of ConsumerAffairs and Public Distribution (CAPD) department were foundunauthorisedly absent from duty," he said. All the absentees were put under suspension by the DeputyCommissioner Baramulla on the report of the Tehsildar, thespokesman added. PTI MIJ SRY SCSRY
