Gangster, aide arrested for murdering gym instructor

New Delhi, Aug 16 (PTI) Najafgarh-based gangster TinuChhariya has been arrested, along with his aide Mohit Kataria,in connection with the murder of a gym instructor, police saidtoday. Tinu and Mohit were arrested from near Salahkul Mandir ofKakrola in the south west Delhi last week following a tip-off,Joint Commissioner (Crime Branch) Ravindra Yadav said. Tinu and Mohit were involved in several cases ofextortion and murder in Najafgarh, Chhawla and Baba HaridasNagar areas. Tinu was close to the dreaded gangster of NajafgarhManjit Mahal and worked with him against their rival gangs ofNavin Khati and Vikas Langarpuria, said the officer. Mohit had been on the run after murdering a gym trainerin the area in October last year over personal enmity. Anothergang member, Sudhir Mandra, has earlier been arrested inconnection with the murder. PTI SLB VITSMN
