RPF returns unclaimed bag with Rs 93,000 to owner

New Delhi, Aug 16 (PTI) Railway Protection Force (RPF)today returned an unclaimed bag containing Rs 93,000 andother valuables to its owner. According to Northern Railway, RPF constable Phool Kunwarfound an unclaimed bag on Jind-Delhi passenger train at OldDelhi station during the checking and informed the dutyofficer about it. The bag was containing Rs 93,000 cash andother valuables. The duty officer after checking the bag found a hotelbooking receipt of Kolkata. The owner of the bag, Satish Kumar, a resident of Jindin Haryana was located and after due verification, the cashand the bag was handed over him, said a senior NorthernRailway official. Delhi Divisional Railway Manager Arun Arora has issuedan instruction for the RPF staff to remain vigilant on dutyand assist rail users. PTI ARURG
