Wagh continues to be on ventilator; CM meets GMCH doctors

Panaji, Aug 18 (PTI) Goa Chief Minister LaxmikantParsekar today held a meeting with doctors of Goa MedicalCollege and Hospital to review the condition of stateAssembly’s Deputy Speaker Vishnu Wagh who continues to be onventilator support. Parsekar arrived at the hospital this morning and heldthe meeting for over one hour. "The chief minister met the team of doctors who aretreating Wagh and reviewed the situation," GMCH’s Dean PradeepNaik told PTI. Naik said Wagh’s condition remains unchanged and he ison ventilator in the hospital’s Coronary Care Unit. The dean had yesterday said his condition was stable. Wagh was admitted in the GMCH on August 15 after hecomplained of uneasiness during an event here. The legislator from St Andre constituency wassuffering from high blood pressure and sugar when he was takento the hospital. The legislator had suffered a heart attack on May 15this year when he was attending a public function to celebratethe birthday of BJP functionary Anil Hoble.
