AP CM, Jagan congratulate Sindhu on her silver medal

Vijayawada, Aug 19 (PTI) Andhra Pradesh Chief MinisterN Chandrababu Naidu and Leader of Opposition Y S JaganmohanReddy joined the nation in congratulating P V Sindhu onwinning silver medal in badminton at the Rio Olympics. "By fighting relentlessly for the gold withcommendable spirit, Sindhu stood as an inspiration for scoresof Indian youth. We are proud that she’s a Telugu girl,"Chandrababu said in a statement. He also complimented her coach and mentor PullelaGopichand for propelling her to Olympic glory. In a separate statement, Jagan said, "Her fightingspirit would inspire the sports fraternity of the country andthe Telugu speaking states in particular and would pave wayfor many achievements in future."
