Mughal road rally restricted to Jammu region due to unrest

Jammu, Aug 19 (PTI) The Mughal road car rally was flaggedoff from here today, but will be restricted to Jammu region inview of the ongoing unrest in Kashmir Valley. The fourth round of Maruti Suzuki National Super LeagueRally Championship 2016, in which over 50 motor enthusiastsare participating, was flagged off by Divisional CommissionerJammu region Pawan Kotwal. "It is not possible to move to Kashmir in view of thesituation. So we have restricted it to Jammu region thisyear", an organiser said. The adventurous rally will end after crossing over variouspicturesque destinations near the city nestled against thebackdrop of the mighty snow-capped Pir Panjal Mountains, anorganiser said.
