Chouhan made convener of BJP-ruled states’ meet on Aug 27

Bhopal, Aug 20 (PTI) In order to gain from Madhya PradeshChief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s "rich experience" inthe state, especially in implementing social welfare schemes,BJP has designated him as the convener for meeting of theparty-ruled states on August 27. "The Chief Minister has been designated as the Convenerof the party-ruled states’ meeting with BJP chief Amit Shah onAugust 27," sources close to Chouhan said. In a recent meeting, Madhya Pradesh BJP’s core committeedeliberated on the agenda to be discussed in the meet andChouhan will formulate it in consultation with other BJP-ruledstates. "BJP made Chouhan the convener of the meeting in view ofhis rich experience, especially in implementing social welfareschemes like Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojna, Stand-up India,Toilet scheme, Ladli Laxmi Yojna and Mukhyamantri TeerthDarshan Yojna, among others," they said.
