Brother-sister booked in connection with rape of a woman

Faridabad, Aug 21 (PTI) A man and his sister have beenbooked in connection with th alleged rape of a woman andcheating after getting her married here, police said today. According to the woman’s complaint, the incident tookplace a few days back after Salman’s sister offered her teawhich was laced with sedatives. She said that Salman raped her after she fell unconsciousand when she told the duo about informing the police about theincident, Salman married her according to Hindu rituals thenext day in Sector-55 here in front of his friends andrelatives, a police official said. The couple went to Salman’s house after the marriage butwere thrown out of the house later by his parents, he said. They then shifted to a rented house but Salman left fromthere after living for some days and came back to his parentsand left the girl alone.
