Sudarsan’s sand sculpture congratulates Sindhu

Bhubaneswar, Aug 21 (PTI) Renowned sand artist SudarsanPattnaik created a sand sculpture at Puri beach of Odishacongratulating badminton player P V Sindhu on winning silvermedal in Rio Olympics and also her coach Gopichand. Pattnaik said he had created a 5 ft high sand sculptureyesterday to congratulate Sindhu and also thank her coachGopichand. He used about 4 tons of sand for the work. "I congratulate PV Sindhu through my sand art; she is thepride of India. I would also like to thank Guru GopiChand, thereal hero behind Sindhu’s success," he said. Sudarsan has participated in more than 50 internationalchampionships and festivals and won many prizes for thecountry. He tries to give social messages through hissculptures. PTI SKN PRIKA
