Select copper and brass utensils decline on subdued demand

Mumbai, Aug 23 (PTI) Select copper and brass utensilsscrap declined at the non-ferrous metal market here today dueto stockists selling as well as subdued demand fromindustrial users. While, copper sheet cuttings marginally recoveredfollowing mild demand from industrial users. Copper utensils scrap moved down by Rs 4 per kg to Rs 326from Monday’s close Rs 330. Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy and copper wire baredged down by Rs 2 per kg each to Rs 364, Rs 359 and Rs 392 ascompared to Rs 366, Rs 361 and Rs 394 yesterday. Copper armature and brass utensils scrap softened by a Reper kg each to Rs 349 and Rs 274 respectively. However, copper sheet cuttings inched up by a Re per kg toRs 343. PTI BPDABI
