Shah ask party MPs, MLAs to join relief work in flood-hit

states New Delhi, Aug 24 (PTI) BJP President Amit Shah todayasked the party’s elected representatives besides otherleaders and workers to join the relief and rescue operationsin the flood-hit states. Expressing his deep concern over floods in states likeBihar, Uttar Pradesh, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh,Rajasthan, Gujarat, Assam and Uttarakhand, Shah spoke to chiefministers in states ruled by the party and asked them to speedup efforts to bring succour to people. He also spoke to party chiefs in all these states andasked them to join the relief and rescue operations, anofficial statement said. Shah said the people affected by the natural disasterwould be provided all possible facilities and condoled thedeaths of people in the tragedy. PTI KRRG
