Todapur mohalla clinic gets a medicine vending machine

New Delhi, Aug 24 (PTI) A automatic medicine-dispensingmachine has been installed at an ‘mohalla clinic’ in Todapurarea in Delhi. The machine, installed yesterday, uses sensor technologyto dispense medicines, and is based on a doctor’sprescription. "An automatic medicine-vending machine has been installedat one of our mohalla clinics. It will have different types ofmedicines, both tablets and syrups," an official said. The machine will dispense the medicine only when a doctorprescribes them on a connected tablet, the official said. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia today retweeted apicture of the machine. According to sources, such machines could be installed infew other mohalla clinics also. PTI KNDSMJ
