TMC plans to felicitate Sakshi, Sindhu and Dipa

Kolkata, Aug 25 (PTI) The Trinamool Congressleadership is planning to felicitate Olympic Medal winners P VSindhu and Sakshi Malik, TMC vice president Mukul Roy said. "We are planning to felicitate the Olympic medalwinners P V Sindhu and Sakshi Malik. We will communicate thematter to them. If they agree to accept our felicitation, thenwe will organise a gala felicitation ceremony here in Kolkataon behalf of our party’s sports cell," Roy said. Roy said the party would also felicitate gymnast DipaKarmakar in Tripura, who narrowly missed the bronze in RioOlympics. India’s woman wrestler Sakshi Malik won a bronze medalin the 58 kg category and shuttler P V Sindhu won a silvermedal in the women’s singles badminton competition at the RioOlympics. PTI PNTDKB
