Congress, SP MLA join BJP in UP

Lucknow, Aug 26 (PTI) In a boost to the BJP ahead of theUP assembly elections next year, a Congress and a SamajwadiParty MLA today joined the saffron party here. Congress MLA Pradeep Chowdhury and Samajwadi Party MLAShyam Prakash joined the BJP here in the presence of partystate president Keshav Prasad Maurya. A number of former MLAs, MP and others too joined theparty. "Their joining will strengthen the party aheadof 2017 assembly polls," Maurya said.
