2 kids die in building terrace collapse

New Delhi, Aug 28(PTI) Two children were killed and twoothers injured after the terrace of a building that was closedfor the last two years collapsed in West Delhi’s Nihal Vihararea. Bharti, Sonam, her brother Satyam and Monika were playingoutside the house when the terrace of the house, where awashroom was built, collapsed yesterday evening, a seniorpolice officer said. Bharti (5) and Sonam (6) were declared brought dead by thedoctors at the hospital. Sonam’s brother Satyam escaped withminor injuries and is on the road to recovery but Monika’scondition continues to be critical, added the officer. The two-storey building is owned by one Harman Singh,who has been staying abroad for the last five years, said theofficer. Since the building had been closed for the last five yearsand there was nobody to look after it, the structure had grownweak and collapsed, added the officer.
