Clashes in Srinagar, Budgam districts; nobody hurt

Srinagar, Aug 29 (PTI) Clashes were reported from anumber of places in Srinagar city and parts of Budgam districtbut nobody was hurt in these incidents, police said. Groups of miscreants pelted stones on security forces atChattabal, Kani Kadal, Khanyar and Batamaloo areas ofSrinagar, a police official said. The security forces used tear gas to chase the protestorsbut no one was hurt in these incidents, the official said. He said reports of clashes between stone-pelters andsecurity forces were also received from Chadoora, Kremshoraand Mazhama areas of Budgam district. PTI MIJ AKKAKK
