Former MP Governor Mohammad Shafi Qureshi no more

Bhopal, Aug 29 (PTI) Former Madhya Pradesh GovernorMohammad Shafi Qureshi passed away in Delhi today, a RajBhawan official here said. He was 87. Qureshi was a prominent leader of Jammu and Kashmirand had also served as former Union Minister. He was the 19th Governor of Madhya Pradesh and wasappointed on June 24, 1993. Qureshi remained in office till1998, the official said. Madhya Pradesh Governor Ram Naresh Yadav, ChiefMinister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Public Relations MinisterNarottam Mishra and Industries Minister Rajendra Shukla amongothers expressed grief over Qureshi’s demise.
