Patna, Aug 30 (PTI) The Nitish Kumar cabinet in Bihartoday gave green signal to new industrial policy which hasfood processing and tourism as priority sectors among others. Approval to industrial promotion policy, 2016 was givenat a meeting of state cabinet presided over by Chief MinisterKumar. Later, Principal Secretary Cabinet Coordinationdepartment told reporters that the new policy has smallmachine manufacturing, IT, textile, plastic and rubberindustry, renewable energy, health care, leather and technicaleducation in the priority sectors. The policy promises rich incentives includingreimbursement of stamp duty and land conversion fees. It would have provision for setting up private industrialparks.
