Entire Delhi mandate being wasted by AAP: Ravi Shankar Prasad

Chennai, Sep 1 (PTI) Hitting out at AAP over the’objectionable CD’ involving its former minister, UnionMinister Ravi Shankar Prasad today said the "entire massivemandate of Delhi is being wasted" by the Arvind Kejriwal-ledruling party. "They claimed arrogantly to become the custodians ofpropriety of Indian politics. They were giving certificate ofhonesty to all. But what is happening in their backyards," hetold reporters on the sidelines of a conference here. While one former Delhi minister (Jitendra Tomar) was"caught with a forged certificate," the convenor of AAP’sPunjab unit was "sacked because of corruption," Prasad said inan apparent reference to the dismissal of Sucha SinghChhotepur, while now there were such allegations. "With the alarming regularity with which corruption andimpropriety have become the buzzword, Mr Kejriwal have youdisowned completely the legacy of Anna Hazare?" the senior BJPleader said. "I am sorry to say the entire massive mandate of Delhi isbeing wasted by the Aam Aadmi Party," he said. Prasad said AAP kept on "attacking the Prime Ministerwithout any basis". Delhi’s Social Welfare Minister Sandeep Kumar wasyestersay sacked by Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal afterreceiving an ‘objectionable’ CD in which he was purportedlyshown in a compromising position with a woman.
