Man arrested for murder

New Delhi, Sep 1 (PTI) A man, accused in several cases ofmurder and vehicle theft, has been arrested in south westDelhi, police said today. Jaiveer (30), who carried a Rs 25,000 reward on hisarrest, was caught by a Crime Branch team from near the AirForce station on Najafgarh-Nangloi Road on August 29, saidRavindra Yadav, Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch). "During interrogation, he disclosed that he was planningto kill family members of his rival with the help of hisassociates. He said he wanted to figure among top 10 criminalsof Delhi," said the officer. Jaiveer was wanted in two murder cases registered atChhawla police station. He was earlier arrested in 2011 inan attempt to murder case registered in Jhajjar, Haryana. He was also involved in robbing a car from a person ongunpoint near Dhankot, Gurgoan, which was recovered from him.He had also stolen another car from Chhawla area along withhis associates, added the officer.
