rankers Kolkata, Sept 2 (PTI) The Calcutta High Court todaydirected the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board topublish the names and marks obtained by first 4,000 rankers inthe 2016 medical entrance test. A division bench comprising acting Chief Justice GirishGupta and Justice Arindam Sinha directed the board to publishwithin 10 days the names along with their roll numbers, marksobtained in the examination and rankings. The order came on a petition claiming that there wereirregularities in the names which appeared in the list ofsuccessful candidates in the 2016 medical joint entranceexamination in West Bengal. The board denied any wrongdoing by anybody and claimedthat there was total transparency in the selection process. Following this, the court directed the board to publishthe names of those students who ranked upto 4,000 in thisyear’s state medical joint entrance test. PTI AMR MMSC
