Navjot Singh Sidhu forms new front ‘Awaaz-e-Punjab’

Date:

New Delhi: Opposing all speculations, former cricketer and politician, Navjot Singh Sidhu, formed a new political front in Punjab ahead of state polls.

Sidhu formed the ‘new front’ named as ‘Awaaz-e-Punjab‘, with Pargat Singh and Bains brothers, as confirmed by Sidhu’s wife.

“Along with Pargat Singh and Bains brothers we have formed a front, this will be against those working against Punjab,” Navjot Kaur Sidhu said.

Posters declaring the formation of the new front were posted on former Akali MP Pargat Singh’s social media handle. The posters include the images of former SAD MP Pargat Singh along with former BJP MP Navjot Singh Sidhu and former MLAs Simarjit Singh Bains and Balwinder Singh Bains.
Earlier in August, Navjot Singh Sidhu had quit as BJP’s Member of Rajya Sabha.

After Sidhu’s resignation from the BJP, speculations were made that Sidhu may contest the election as Aam Aadmi Party’s Chief Ministerial candidate.

Now the question arises, after this super strike, what would be the next step of Sidhu in Punjab Politics and also the effects of newly formed front in the upcoming elections!
