Delhi govt relieves five DANICS officers

New Delhi, Sep 5 (PTI) Delhi government today relievedfive DANICS officers from their services in the cityadministration, so that they could join the Andaman & NicobarIsland administration. The order, issued by the Services Department of DelhiGovernment, said, Delhi Andaman and Nicobar Islands CivilService (DANICS) officer, DSIIDC Managing Director SanjeevAhuja has been relieved from his post with immediate effect. All five DANICS officer had been transferred in July bythe Centre to Andaman & Nicobar. A section of IAS officers had recently expresseddisappointment over Ahuja holding the post of ManagingDirector of DSIIDC as such position was held by IAS cadreofficers in the past. The other four DANICS officers who have been relieved bythe Delhi government are Special Director (Education) ShashiKaushal, Joint Commissioner (Labour) Sushil Singh, ADM (SouthDistrict) Richa and Manoj Kumar Diwedi deputed in South DelhiMunicipal Corporation.
