Passing out parade of recruits of 108th Course held

Nagpur, Sep 7 (PTI) As many as 183 recruits of the108th Course, who are now combat soldier participated in animpressive passing out parade at The Brigade of The GuardsRegimental Centre, Kamptee. A ceremonial parade taken out yesterday was presentedby the young guardsmen, who now set forth to serve the nation,ready and well trained for front line duties. The spirited young guardsmen have earned their statusafter challenging and strenuous training of 34-weeks. Keeping with the age old traditions, they wereadministered the oath of allegiance and devotion to duty bythe Adjutant, according to a Defence PRO release. Pride was writ large on their faces as they crossedthe symbolic ‘antim pagh’ in slow march to the universalPassing Out tune of the military band ‘Auld Lang Syne’. Medals were presented to outstanding Guardsmen invarious disciplines of training. Major General Anuj Mathur, Officiating General OfficerCommanding, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Goa Area reviewed theparade. The Regimental Centre is equipped with state-of-theart training infrastructure and aids to ensure that the bestquality training is imparted to the recruits by the selectedinstructors of the regiment.
