statements: Naik Bareilly (UP), Sep 9 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh Governor RamNaik today said political leaders should avoid makingcontroversial statements, days after Samajwadi Party leaderAzam Khan dubbed BR Ambedkar as someone who grabs land. "Political leaders should practice restrain while makingsuch statements as elections are near," he told reportershere. Naik said there is a scope of improvement inlaw-and-order situation of the state and as assembly electionsare heading, Election Commission has started working in thisregard.
