2 pickpockets held at IGIA for mugging flyer coming from Dubai

New Delhi, Sep 11 (PTI) Two pickpockets were arrested atthe Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA) here forallegedly stealing a flyer’s wallet containing Rs 2,100 cash,foreign currency and bank cards. Officials said the incident was reported around 5 AM whena CISF security personnel deployed to check the CCTV footageof the bus terminal area at the international arrival noticedsuspicious activity of the duo. The CISF official immediately alerted his on-dutycolleagues who intercepted the two and recovered the walletof the flier, identified as A Siddiqui, who was coming fromDubai and travelling to Patna. The wallet contained Rs 2,100 cash, 300 Dirhams and afew credit and debit cards and the arrested men have beenidentified as B Upadhyay and Om Prakash, the officials said. "Siddiqui was later tracked over CCTV and he was handedover his wallet before he boarded a flight to Patna. Till thistime, he was unaware about the theft. He later made acomplaint in this regard after which the police booked andarrested the two pickpockets," they said. PTI NES KIS RTKIS
