Muslims in Kerala celebrate Eid-ul-Azha

Thiruvananthapuram, Sep 12 (PTI) Muslims in Kerala todaycelebrated Eid-ul-Azha or Bakrid, the festival of sacrifice,with hundreds of faithful thronging mosques and speciallyarranged Idgahs for the morning prayers in towns and villagesacross the state. Giving out the Eid message, religious scholars exhortedthe faithful to uphold the Islamic ideals of love, compassionand unflinching faith in the will of Almighty. The Governor Justice (retd) P Sathasivam, Chief MinisterPinarayi Vijayan, Opposition leader Ramesh Chennithala andother political parties greeted people on the occasion. PTIJRK ROHCHTNTR
