Teacher sodomises teenage boy in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Sep 13 (PTI) A 14-year-old boy was allegedlysodomised by his teacher at an educational institute inChandrayangutta area here, police said today. The accused, identified as Riyaz, allegedly sodomisedthe boy at an isolated place near a hillock at Bandlagudaabout 15 days back, Chandrayangutta police station inspectorY Prakash Reddy said. "After the boy complained of ill-health, he wasshifted to a hospital yesterday where he informed about theincident following which his parents lodged a complaint withpolice," he said. Based on the complaint, a case was registered on charge ofsodomy under IPC section 377 and relevant sections ofProtection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
