Three girls drown in a river

Bhagalpur (Bihar), Sep 13 (PTI) Three girls, includingtwo siblings, got drowned today in a river at Nagwa villagein Kahalgaon police station area of Bhagalpur district, apolice officer said. The girls got drowned in Kowa river while immersingsome articles in the water as part of a religious ritual, theDeputy Superintendent of Police Ramanand Kumar Kaushal said. The bodies of the girls — Rani Kumari (19) and thesisters Kanchan Kumari (16) and Suman Kumari (14) – werefished out and handed over to their families afterpost-mortem, he said. PTI CORR KDKNN
