Beef export rose by two-and-a-half times under Modi govt: Azam

Mathura, Sep 16 (PTI) Uttar Pradesh Minister Azam Khantoday alleged that the export of beef has shot up by two-and-a-half times under the Narendra Modi government. "BJP criticised previous governments for promoting beefexport. But under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the export ofbeef has shot up two-and-a-half times. The party is indulgingin double speak," Khan said at an event here. Khan alleged that Modi has failed to deliver on thepromises he made in the run up to the 2014 Lok Sabha polls. He alleged that the Modi government was "deceiving peoplein the name of cleaning the Ganga, while innocent people aregetting killed in the name of protecting cows". Asked about factional feud in the Samajwadi Party, theminister said, "Neta Ji (Mulayam Singh Yadav) would settle theissue amicably." PTI Corr GVSSMJ
