14 kg ganja, worth Rs 4 lakh, seized; two arrested

Bengaluru, Sep 17 (PTI) Two ganja peddlers have beenarrested and 14 kg of the contraband, worth Rs four lakh,seized near Devanahalli here, the Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB) said today. The arrests were made by the NCB’s Bangalore Zonal Unitwhich yesterday intercepted the car the duo was travelling inon NH 7, near the Devanahalli-Doddaballapur crossing here. The ganja was sourced from Visakhapatnam and was supposedto be sold to customers here, the NCB said in a statement,adding that the two "main" ganja peddlers had smuggled thecontraband into the city on several occasions in the past. The two were produced before the NDPS (Narcotic Drugs andPsychotropic Substances) Court which remanded them to judicialcustody. PTI KSU RA APRRCMVV
