Man arrested for raping 11-yr-old niece

Ghaziabad, Sep 17 (PTI) A 25-year-old man was arrested forallegedly raping his 11-year-old niece in Pooja colony here,police said today. On Thursday night Manoj raped her niece after finding heralone in the house. He, later, threatened her not to reveal itto anyone, SHO Ummed Yadav said, adding the accused and hissister lived in the same colony. The victim narrated her ordeal to her parents and theylodged a complaint with the police, he said. On a tip off, Manoj was arrested and a case under section376 of IPC (punishment for rape) and POCSO Act registeredagainst him, he added. PTI Corr AQS RGAQS
