Health cards to be issued to every person in Haryana: Anil Vij

Chandigarh, Sep 20 (PTI) Health cards will be issued toall people in Haryana and a checklist of about 30 diseaseshas been prepared for regular tests, Health Minister Anil Vijsaid here today. The tests would be conducted for diseases related toblood, liver and kidney, besides TB. A decision to this effect was taken in a review meeting ofthe Department today. "With this, people would get information about variousdiseases and department would immediately take preventivemeasures to cure the disease," said Vij. He said the state government was mulling introducing’Atal Jeevan Rakshak Yojana’ so as to save those injured inaccidents on National Highways in the state. Under the scheme, fully-equipped ambulances would bedeployed in such a manner that timely assistance could beprovided. PTI SUN CHT RGCHT
