Lucknow: Ahead of crucial UP Assembly polls, Senior Congress leader Rita Bahuguna Joshi is expected to join Bharatiya Janata Party.
According to reports, Joshi, who is currently the MLA from Lucknow Cantonment has met BJP president Amit Shah.

However, BJP leader and Joshi’s brother Vijay Bahuguna has denied the issue. He said, “These are just rumours, no truth in them.”
Rita Bahuguna Joshi was the UP Congress president for consecutive five years and her father was the former CM of UP.

Crucial Elections in Uttar Pradesh have been scheduled early next year and former Delhi CM Sheila Dikshit has been proposed as CM candidate by Congress.
