Nation remembers father of Milk Revolution on his 95th birth anniversary

The ‘Milkman of India’, Father of white revolution in India Dr.Verghese Kurien was born in 1921 on this date. He was the chief architect of Operation Flood, which made India milk sufficient and the largest milk producer in the world.
He was the progenitor of AMUL. He organised the milk cooperative, which is a success model for many others today.

He was awarded Ramon Magasaysay and Padma Vibhushan awards.
