Whatsapp launches new feature of undo sent messages

Whatsapp has become one of the best and the most popular mode of communication between friends, family and just acquaintances. Whatsapp is even used in offices for professional communication. The term is now turned into a verb with people saying “Just Whatsapp it”.

People face a big problem each day while sending and receiving messages that are Erroneous Whatsapp messages. It could be something innocent or a bunch of embarrassment. We have felt the same at some point or the other.  After a long wait, WhatsApp is all set to launch the feature that will users to undo or recall their sent messages but the feature is not activated yet. For now, the feature is being tested only in the iOS version, which is the iPhone version and Android users are yet to spot it.

You can recall the message, edit them and resend it to the other person, there’s apparently no time limit in which the messages can be recalled. If you get the blue tick the message can still be recalled, this new feature definitely gives a lot of users some major relief. This feature will not be only for individual users but also for group users. Tweeting about the new feature, WABetaInfo said, “WhatsApp had added in beta the possibility to edit messages that you already sent, and it is actually disabled by default and it’s under development.

The past year, in 2016, Whatsapp announced a lot of changes and new features. The app received a lot of upgrades and some of them, much needed. The app went from being a basic messenger app to video calling app. Since Whatsapp was taken by Facebook it has gone under many changes. Facebook is aggressively using Whatsapp to challenge competitors and is waging a war on other messenger platforms like Snapchat.

But then, this new Recall feature will perhaps be the most appreciated feature of them all. We only wish we get to see it soon!
