Jayalalithaa’s niece makes political debut; announces new political outfit

Amid political instability in the state of Tamil Nadu, in a bid to claim the legacy of aunt, Deepa Jayakumar, niece of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa formed a new political outfit on Friday and is all set to jump into poll fray from Chennai’s RK Nagar.

Deepa Jayakumar launched the political outfit on the occasion of late Jayalalithaa’s 69th birth anniversary, known as  MGR AMMA Deepa Forum.

“Amma Deepa Peravai’ is the platform we launch formally today,” said Jayakumar.

Jayakumar said that she will not to join hands with O. Panneerselvam.
