RGV lands in trouble over his controversial tweet involving Sunny Leone

Filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma landed into a soup once again. The director, on the occasion of International Women’s Day, took to Twitter to wish his fans and wrote, “I wish all the women in the world give men as much happiness as Sunny Leone gives. over his controversial tweet involving Bollywood actress Sunny Leone.

A police complaint has been registered by Ranaragini, the women’s wing of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, over his controversial tweet involving Bollywood actress Sunny Leone.

However, Varma maintains that he’ll file a ‘counter complaint’ against the activist for disrespecting Sunny Leone’s followers. The tweet didn’t go down well with Twitterati and Varma instantly received a major backlash but that only made him defend his previous tweets.

By citing hypocrisy as the reason for all the “negative noise towards my tweet on Sunny Leone”.

The actor got into a face-off  with NCP Leader Jitendra Ah-wad who said if Varma doesn’t apologise he’ll have to face consequences & that the NCP cadre won’t mind taking law into their own hands.

The activists however,  wanted Varma’s Twitter account to be blocked and section 298 to be imposed on him for using indecent language against women. The senior police officials are now looking into the matter.
