Mumbai University to organise a helicopter ride for students

In a unique initiative, the Mumbai University is organising a helicopter ride to the city tomorrow, wherein sixteen varsity students will take part. The test ride will take off from the MU’s Kalina campus in western Mumbai tomorrow morning.

“Mumbai university wants to start a helicopter ride for its students. As a part of it, a test ride of 16 students is organised on Tuesday from our Kalina campus. Students have been identified and the first ride will take place tomorrow morning,” the varsity said in a statement today.

The students, living in various hostels of the varsity, will be flown in a Pawan Hans chopper in two rounds. “We will work out the future plan based on the response we get tomorrow,” it said.
