Woman molested in a pub at park street area of Kolkata

A 30-year-old woman reported a complaint on Sunday alleging that she was molested by a group of young men in a pub in the park street area. The incident occurred when she went out to a pub with her husband.

The woman said that the four of the men abused both of them and then pinned her down on the floor, her husband intervened them but he was also beaten up. Nobody present at the pub came to the couple’s rescue till the bouncers intervened and saved her, the woman said in her complaint lodged on Sunday.

Police checked the CCTV footage also and identified one of the accused person, the police also added that the search is still on. The men, including a businessman, was allegedly “unhappy” that a woman had intruded into “their private space which they had booked inside the nightclub,” according to the sources.
