Parents appeal on social media to track killer vehicle


On March 18 four friends were on their way home when a speeding truck appeared out of nowhere, taken by surprise and unable to escape quickly, the truck rammed into the white Honda City they were traveling in killing one of the men on the spot. The truck driver fled from the spot.

According to police, the accident took place on March 18 at about 2:30 in the morning somewhere between Shankar Vihar and Mahipalpur. The victim has been identified as a 22-year-old Divij Papneja. Other three friends were injured in the accident too.

More than 20 days after the accident, the accused is still absconding. Papneja worked for an MNC in Gurgaon.


According to victim’s close relative, a case has been registered at Vasant Kunj police station. However, they claim that the police has taken no action. The CCTV in the area has also not proved to be of any help.

The heartbroken family of Divij Papneja took to social media to seek help. The post is an appeal to the public to help them find the witnesses if any. The family shocked by the incident expressed their grief to NewsMobile.
