Man shot at by suspected militants in J&K

Srinagar: Suspected militants shot at and injured a person in south Kashmir’s Pulwama district, the police said.

At about 2125 hours, unidentified militants fired at and injured Nisar Ahmad Mir near his home in Presoo area of the district, a police official said.

He said Mir was shifted to the district hospital from where he was referred to a hospital here for specialised treatment.

Mir, the official said, was reportedly working as a private electrician.
