Snake Venom seized worth Rs 70 Crore

Two personnel were apprehended by the Customs official and SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal) for sneaking out 2 Jars of snake venom with an approximate value of Rs 70 Crore in Darjeeling, West Bengal on Wednesday, According to the reports.

“On the basis of specific information provided by a source, the 41st battalion of SSB and Customs officials of Siliguri launched a joint operation and apprehended two persons in an area between Batasi and Panitanki,” a senior official of SSB 41st battalion said.

”The apprehended are under interrogation”, he added.
