Singer Adnan Sami stops Pak Twitter troll on tracks

Date:

Even as tension mounts between the neighbors India and Pakistan with recalled ambassadors, border violence and trading insults at the UN, the soulful singer, Adnan Sami who is now an Indian citizen for a while and lives in Mumbai, posted a good wishes on the occasion of Hindu new year this morning like many across India.

However, his greetings on the occasion of a Hindu festival peeved-off one of his petulant fans from his birth country, Pakistan. The unhappy fan tweeted back reminding Sami that he should not forget greeting on Eid now.

The ever jovial singer gave a sweet reply to the taunt saying Eid does not belong to one country only.

Here’s the complete interaction,

Well said Adnan!
