Indrani Mukerjea rushed to hospital emergency ward

Indrani Mukerjea, the prime accused in her daughter, Sheena Bora‘s gruesome murder and former head of the scam-riddled INX media, was admitted to JJ Hospital in Byculla yesterday.

According to doctor treating Mukerjea, she was rushed to the emergency ward of the hospital in delirious condition.

Indrani, is currently lodged in Mumbai’s Byculla jail on murder charges.

Sheena was abducted and murdered in 2012, allegedly by her mother Indrani, Indrani’s ex husband, Sanjeev Khanna, driver Shyamvar Rai in a conspiracy with Peter Mukerjea.

It is one of the most shocking murder investigations that has shaken the Indian public and stirred the media into frenzy for months. Lately Indrani was also in news for her alleged statements on the INX Media kickbacks case where the son of the former Finance Minister, P Chidambaram is said to be involved in suspected bribery. Her husband, Peter Mukerjea is also an accused in the INX Media kickback case.
